Product Overview

 

This is an integrated turnkey production line integrating dissolution, extraction, scrubbing, back extraction, organic phase regeneration, refining and reduction. Adopting full closed-loop PLC automatic control, it directly produces ≥99.9% high-purity platinum, palladium, rhodium and iridium powder. It solves four major drawbacks of traditional wet purification: heavy labor, unstable recovery rate, unqualified purity and equipment corrosion & liquid leakage.
 

Applicable Raw Materials

  • Platinum group metal concentrates from copper anode slime with complex impurities like gold, silver, lead, antimony, copper, etc.
  • Enriched leachate from waste automotive three-way catalysts
  • Platinum group metal slag, precious metal electroplating residue and spent catalyst liquid (support adaptive modification)

 

Process Flow

 

We adopt mature multi-stage countercurrent extraction, scrubbing, back extraction, secondary refining and hydrogen reduction closed-loop process for targeted metal separation:
  1. Palladium Extraction: Pre-treatment → 4-stage selective extraction → 3-stage scrubbing → 3-stage back extraction → Organic phase regeneration → Refining → Palladium powder

    Single-pass direct recovery: 96%, Total recovery: 99%, Extraction rate: >99.5%

  2. Platinum Extraction: Residual liquid treatment → 4-stage extraction → Scrubbing & back extraction → Refining → Platinum powder

    Single-pass direct recovery: 95%, Total recovery: 99%, Extraction rate: >99.5%

  3. Impurity Removal: 4-stage extraction to remove copper, lead, antimony and other harmful impurities, average impurity removal rate up to 97%
  4. Rhodium & Iridium Separation: Hydrolytic enrichment → Oxidative dissolution → Iridium removal → Precipitation & hydrogen reduction → Rhodium powder

    Rhodium single-pass direct recovery: 86%, Iridium single-pass direct recovery: 92%, Total recovery of both metals: 99%
